These examples are for nodes that exist only to host a subtree (i.e. they have no data of their own)

organizationalUnit (ou)

Minimum

Skeleton

 # node, [BaseDN]
 dn: ou=node,[BaseDN]
 objectClass: top
 objectClass: organizationalUnit
 ou: node

Example

 # auth, example, com
 dn: ou=auth,dc=example,dc=com
 objectClass: top
 objectClass: organizationalUnit
 ou: auth

or, if you need the associated domain (as with LDAPMigrationTools)

Skeleton

 # node, [BaseDN]
 dn: ou=node,[BaseDN]
 objectClass: top
 objectClass: organizationalUnit
 objectClass: domainRelatedObject
 ou: node
 associatedDomain: your.domain
