Bots & Bytes
Teaching the Rasbperry Pi In Six Modules
A team of volunteers, including myself, will be presenting "Bots & Bytes" to a group of tweens on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the MakerPlace in the Midland Public Library. We'll be showing them how to use the Raspberry Pi to control electronic devices, and they will build a robot buggy in weeks four to six. At the end of week six they will be participating in challenge course with their robot buggies. This will be controlled by code, not remote controls, and we're excited to see what the kids come up with!
You can take a look at the course material online via this Tiny URL: https://tinyurl.com/yyaxnwjg, as it is posted (later weeks are still undergoing revisions), and you have any suggestions please feel free to contribute via the Bots & Bytes GitHub Repository, whether content, or noting issues with the material.
You can see the official MPL advertisement on their Kids Programs page.
